The Pulse was the vision of a man that wanted to stake his own claim in the world; in a small way. Born from a long line of prestige and fame from a city far to the north, he dislocated himself from it and moved south. Lighthaven was small, and no one gave a second thought to the last name of Schweiger. Alexander Schweiger being the man behind the club.
It was originally supposed to be a laid back bar for the masses to come and enjoy a brew. He was content in knowing that the bar would have it's draw, however the Vampire Council had other ideas in mind. They also guaranteed the safety of his life if they did what they asked; even invested. Make it into some place bigger for more of the masses to come and enjoy the nightlife. In exchange, Alexander Schweiger and some of the higher ups would turn the other cheek at any happenings that would happen. The club would retain protection and continue to thrive as long as it was ran with the masses in mind in the forefront, Vampire Council came first but would be unknown to others "not in the know". It was their playground, their place to meet with other kindred in the VIP section, also their hunting grounds. A lot of interest in this place has grown in the three month span it had existed in the city, and it grows, drawing people even from other towns surrounding to see it. After all, it's in a shore city where people often flock to party to begin with. The up side, it's a lot smaller than Los Angeles so more come to this place as a potentially quieter get away.
