He hadn't expected her to bolt for the door, but it was only politic to offer. "I was not asking you to leave Sarifa, merely offering you the opportunity having verified what I know you must have suspected, and affirming your safety. As to what you are,I need not know, and your counsel is yours to keep. And there may not be such safety in numbers as you allude to. There are factions at work even amongst the Kindred."

~She gave a nod of her head and listened, silently looking over the pictures around her in detail before she would remove her attention from them and go back to Kristoff.~ "Oh, you are right. So many factions, but you must admit, there are so many of you." ~She moved from the dry bar and went back over to where Kristoff was but did not sit. She was tired of sitting. Her right hand idly slid atop the couchs' fabric, her finger tips tickling it as she moved more towards him. If he ever feared anything, perhaps he should learn to fear this one. The fire mirrored in her eyes, the sharp green staring back into his dark orbs but for a moment. A clever little bit of a smile perched on full lips as she watched him for a moment. Her head turned when she was but a step from where he sat on the couch and moved away, her hand left only for a few seconds until it too left him and she moved across the expance of the common room, as it were. Her voice didn't raise as she spoke in her heavily accented english.~ "I am glad you are not curious as to 'what' I am. It would be a pitty if something were to go wrong during our visits." ~'Visists'? Yes, she had made it plurel as if she planned on 'visiting' more then once. Interation was always good no matter the person.~

He watched her as she approached him,the fire shining in her eyes, and then he listened. Oh yes he had heard the plural quite clearly. "I am heartened,if I may use that word, that you are considering more visits to my home. I find conversation with you quite stimulating. Far from what I get with most of the locals, even other Kindred. And yes my dear, there are quite a few of us about. But you seem restless. Would you care to see more of my abode?"

~She took a slow drink of her scotch before nodding her head. Conversation came in so many forms yet she loved to banter, loved the play on words. Loved when they meant more then one things. She had missed speaking with others in such a manner. These days people were direct and only meant one thing. If they threatened you it was put out there without a small grin, or play on words. It bored her sometimes. Taking a small breath she turned her body in his direction.~ "Yes. That would be nice. I have seen all you have here and wonder what else you may have out in the open, knowing you keep your most prized locked away. Perhaps even one day you may trust me enough to only gaze upon them for but a moment. Who knows?" ~She took careful steps towards him, awaiting him to stand and escort her about his home. She loved back story's on things that had been accumulated through one's long living. Vampires interested her in that way to be told how many lives they lived and what they did with their time in each. Facinating really.~

He would stand at her approach and once again offer her his arm. He would lead he through a doorway and they would find themselves in a formal dining room. "From time to time I find I do have to entertain mortals. I save this room for such occasions." The table,of highly polished mahogany, would seat a dozen comfortably. the linen palcemats were of a rich burgundy color, the candelabra of solid silver with a definite antique look to it. The matching chairs were solidly worked. The windows would look out over the cliff to the sea,and on the opposite wall would be a portrait. It looked to be Kristoff himself, but in an 18th outfit. The china cabinet under the portrait would have fine bone china on display, which was gilt edged. The silverware would have a high polish and appear to be silver as well.

~Her hand moved out, tucking it's self into his arm and gave a small smile to him. She would walk with him and look anywere he chose to point or draw attention to. Her eyes looked around the room, a satisfactory smile on her face.~ "What a large room. I would love to see it lit up for a party." ~Her eyes shifted over to look at him for a moment, implying that she would love to be invited to one of those 'human entertaining' evenings, if he so desired to have her there. She then turned her eyes to the portait.~ "My, you do not look a day older then 300." ~A small joke she poked at him. Her eyes dancing with the joke before she moved to the cabinet that held such precious china.~ ~Her eyes fell over each peice amazed at the beuty of them. Her head turned to the view through the windows. Moving with such grace this Bastet was known for she went to them looking out at the waters below. She watched the waves crash. Her feminine siloet ghostly in the lack of light from within and the beaming of the moon from outside.~ "It is beautiful."

He watched as she took in each item in the room, and saw that she appreciated the care with which he had chosen. Her joke about not looking a day over 300 would garner her a faint smile. When she crossed to the windows to look out over the sea,her silhouette would have stirred the heart of even the most deadened of men. Sarifa's simple exclamation of 'It's beautiful would certainly sum it up. "Precisely why I chose this placement for the house. Would you care to see the kitchen?"

~She could come to adore such a view. Hearing him speak brought her head up and turning towards him. That simple, kind smile slightly lifting the sides of her mouth as she gave a nod of her head and went to him, her hand going out to slid back into the crook of his so he could guide her around his home.~ "Indeed. I am a bit peckish. A snack would be sufficent." ~Good thing he didn't know just exactly how much she loved to eat. A dark tribal curse that, not even the elders, spoke of. And one that could, truely be taken advantage of if one wished the entire Bubasti race dead even though there were few of them in exsistance even now. The Followers of Set still searched for them swearing they still exsisted and swearing still that they needed to slaughter ever Bubasti there was. There was a bitter blood feud between the two races but none would blame the Bubasti for wanting the Settites dead and gone. Not even fellow vampires. They were poisonous vipers that deserved the den they made themselves. Sarifa carefully stepped with Kristoff ever the elegent lady she had been bread to be.~

He would let Sarifa slide her hand into the crook of his arm, indeed he wanted it that way. He would lead her to the opposite end of the room and then through a short connecting corridor to the kitchen. A simple word for a not so simple room. The stainless steel would abound here. From the appliances to the prep areas to the stove itself. This was a kitchen that any Cordon Bleu chef would be proud of. "Was there anything in particular that would suit your mood my dear?"

~Sarifa would walk with him and give a pause when they walked into the kitchen. She smiled.~
"You have the kitchen of a resturant. How many do you feed here?" ~She was teasing him, of course, and showed so with a laugh in her eyes and a smile on her face.~
~Hmm...to eat. What was it she wanted at the moment. Something sweet would do.~
"I feel my sweet tooth wishes something. Do you have anything sweet?"
~She left him again to look around the room and take in all that was here. `

He would take her question seriously, even though he had seen the smile in her eyes. "Usually I let the lads fend for themselves, but at a stretch we can do a dinner party for 20." At her mention of something sweet,he would go to one of the refrigerators and open the door. "It seems that you have a choice of strawberry cheese cake or a chocolate mousse."

~She was looking around the kitchen while he moved to the refridgerator to look for something sweet.~ "Cheese cake would be delightful." ~She lifted her eyes to the ceiling. Always the curious kitty, she was. Always weary of others.~ ~Her head dropped to turn her attention back to Kristoff and gave a gentle smile.~ "Why is it there are only males in this house? Is everyone here perpetual bachlors?" ~Another tease yet she was curious of it at the same time. Kristoff was seeming more like one who did not care for the touch of a woman the more she thought about it. Yet a friend he could be either way. She moved from her spot to stand, laying her back against the opposite refridgerater door while he stood there looking into it by way of the other door. Her head tilted slightly as she watched him and waited for his answer. Strang how when she was so near she seemed comfortable. She didn't look threatening and didn't look as if she thought herself threatened. Smooth as silk the woman could make, just about anyone, feel that they were the only one in her eyes. Of course she did not do this now. She wished to befriend the kindred before or if anything progressed beyond such.~

"Cheese cake it is then." He would reach into the refrigerator and bring out a cake stand that had what was easily a 4 inch high cheese cake. He would slice her a generous piece and top it with fresh strawberries. At the question,Kristoff would just smile before answering. "As I am sure that you are aware of my dear that my kind has certain feeding preferences. Mine just happens to be young men. As for them being bachelors, while they are here yes, afterwards they are free to go their own way. But I suppose what you are really asking is are they more than sustenance for me. I will admit to having slept with them, but then again I have bedded many a fair lass as well."

~Her lips perced into a kind of kiss as she watched Kristoff slice a peice of the cheese cake and top it off with strawberries. How did he know? Her lips curved into a smile before she licked at her lips. She -loved- cheese cake. She -loved- stawberry's. The combination almost make her mouth water. She made her way over to where the small plate was and took up a fork. Her head nodded as she took a bite of the cake and revealed in the choice fruit he made. Lovely. She heard his explination but it pailed in importance to the wonderful food she savored in her mouth at that moment. Once swollowed she looked at him.~ "I would think you have held many a woman. The preferance in feeding, I understand. I have met those who only prefered Fae, or Werecreatures of various sort. Some only virgins no matter the sex." ~She brought another bite of the cheese cake and strawberry's to her mouth savoring it with a 'Mmm' as she closed her eyes and concintrated on the creamy taste of the cheese cake and contrasted tart taste of the strawberry's. How wonderful it was. She approved very much.~

He watched as Sarifa took a bite of the cheesecake, and saw as the smile spread across her face. "I'll have to tell Anton that he has another fan. One night you must come to dinner and let Jason have a chance to astound you."
