~Her eyes opened as she smiled and gave a dip of her head.~ "If this Jason can cook as good as Anton can make a cheese cake I am already astounded but I would also accept your invitation." ~She brought another bite to her mouth. Within another moment the cake would be gone and she would be placing the fork gently down onto the small plate. It had been a wonderful peice that played in her mouth still.~ "Is there anywhere else you would choose to show me?" ~She leaned on hands that sat atop the kitcken top, her head tilting. Curiosity was a nagging thing.~ "A library? A study? A garden? I'm sure you have more then that here."

"Have you then a particularly favorite dish? I'm sure Jason can certainly do it justice." He was indeed secure in that knowledge as he had footed the bill to send Jason to one of the best cooking schools in the country. Anton's love for pastry f any kind was self taught, but nonetheless valued. Other parts of the house? "Well certainly I have a library and a room I keep as a place just for myself,if you would care to see them."

~She smiled, her eyes shifting away as if thinking of some dish she liked but shook her head.~ "No. I think I would enjoy allowing him to surprise me." ~Walking around the counter she looked around the kitchen then nodded. More places to explore. She liked the thought. The woman snuck into cripts and tombs most her younger life. The absolute need to explore was sometimes overwhelming. Her green orbs turned to Kristoff and waited for him to escort her where he willed.~

He would take the now empty plate and stick it in the dishwasher. He liked to keep things neat,a quality he had instilled in the lads as well. "Well when we set a date I'm sure he will do is best to please." He would once again offer her his arm as he would lead Sarifa out of the kitchen by a different door. He headed down a corridor with several doors that were closed. "These are the lads rooms and they do treasure their privacy." At the end of the corridor they would turn to the right. and Kristoff would open the first door there and usher Sarifa in. Before her would be floor to ceiling book shelves, several comfortable looking chairs and a small "Jefferson" desk. If Sarifa were to peruse the shelves carefully, she would find many books from all ages of man, some even signed by the author and there were even a few first edition manuscripts. Having said that, there were some books there by persons she was unlikely to have even heard of.

~Sharp green orbs watched Kristoff put the plate and fork in the dishwasher before he offered his arm to her. She slid her own hand into the crook of his arm and shifted her body closer to his welcoming the company. Her head dipped slightly.~ "I am sure he would do the best he could. I would enjoy it." ~Walking with him she gave small nods of her head towards the doors he indicated. They would be of no concern to her. She would most likely never even meet the men he had here to feed on. Her eyes grew a bit wide when he moved her into the large room filled with books. Her lips parting as her head moved around, eyes scanning quickly everything she saw.~ "My, my. What a wonder of collected knowledge." ~She didn't leave his side. In her world it was rude to touch or read over such documents without permission.~

He would note Sarifa's reaction to the room, and he understood when she didn't make the natural movement to inspect the shelves more closely. He was proud of his rather eclectic collection. "Please my dear, feel free to take a closer look,if that is your desire." There would be everything under the sun on the shelves from 17th century manuscripts, carefully preserved in glass cases, to some of the modern fiction. Clarke,Heinlein,Asimov to name but a few.

~Like a child in a candy store, Sarif's eyes were lit, a smile to show exctly just how interested she was in being able to look over such a collection. She would turn her head back to him a time or two to show how happy she was to be able to look at his collection. Oh sure she knew this was most likely not his most prized one. He had told her she may never see that one but it didn't bother her too much. She slid fingers over glass cases tenderly, like a lover.~
"You certainly know how to show a lady a good time, Kristoff. Your collection is Very impressive."
~She continued to nearly flitter here then flitter there to look at all he had. She flipped pages and skimmed over documents taking in as muc knowledge as she could before he would make her leave. The waning of knowledge was a down fall for her after all. A curse almost.~

He watched her move from shelf to shelf with obvious delight. It pleased him to see her so interested in the accumulated knowledge. He made a decision that he had never made before. "Sarifa, I'm willing to grant you unlimited access to this library if you desire it. All I ask is that you leave the sealed cases in that condition." For him to grant such unlimited access to any part of his home to one who was not of his entourage, was unheard of.
